Shrek 3

It isn't bad. And it isn't good compared to Shrek 2.


But it's still worth watching. They have a good cast line-up.

Timberlake has to work on his dubbing. Not to mention the character he's dubbing actually looks like him.

Graphics? A bit better than the previous Shreks.

Storyline? A poorer storyline. It won't be able to beat Shrek 2 at the top of the best animated films of all time.

Humor? No. The humor doesn't work.

But the concepts about the princesses? That made me laugh. Cinderella or Cindy is actually one of the dumbest princesses you'll ever meet. Snow White actually has a bitchy attitude. Sleeping Beauty is sleeping all the time, but I think I got a crush on this animated character..ooooh, how weird. And Rapunzel? Rapunzel is bald!

Donkey doesn't work. He's not so funny anymore.

Rating it on scales 1 - 5.? 3. For Shrek 3! Kidding.

Well, Gotta go and watch Pirates Of The C.

Missing Optimus Prime and Megatron? This is the movie to watch!



Plot:

In the Arctic Circle during the 1800s, Captain Archibald Witwicky falls into an abyss and lands on a robotic hand partially buried in the ice. He finds the eyes of Decepticon leader Megatron staring back at him, who burns a map showing the location of the life giving Allspark into Witwicky's eyeglasses. These are handed down to his descendant, Sam, in the present day.

Elsewhere, Decepticon Blackout attacks a United States Air Force base in Qatar in the present day, grabbing and absorbing information from a computer whilst he destroys the base and deploys Scorponok. Scorponok chases Captain Lennox and his Special Ops team in the desert and in a village.

Lennox then makes a phone call to The Pentagon, who send a jet to fight off the Decepticon. Sam Witwicky buys his first car, which happens to be the Autobot Bumblebee. Bumblebee helps Sam to gain Mikaela as his girlfriend. The Autobots come looking for Archibald's glasses, whilst hiding in Sam's yard, and the nefarious Sector 7 comes to invade Sam's house.

The film eventually concludes with a battle that begins at the Hoover Dam and concludes in Los Angeles as Autobot leader Optimus Prime and Megatron face each other.

Get Ready!

So many movies to watch! Shrek the Third, Transformers, 28 Weeks Later.
Just watched Spidey for 3 times. Gosh.

Plot:

Shrek the Third has Shrek and Fiona watching over their kingdom of Far Far Away, now that King Harold is a frog, yet Shrek feels that he never cares about his friends. When King Harold falls ill and is dying, Shrek and Fiona determine that if they can find a suitable heir to the throne of Far Far Away and bring him back, they can leave their current lifestyles behind and return to their swamp. The most promising candidate for the position of king is Fiona's cousin, Arthur (Artie) who proves to be much more of a problem than Shrek, Donkey, and Puss had bargained for.

While Shrek is away, Prince Charming attempts to take the throne of Far Far Away. To do that, he heads to the Poison Apple Bar and assembles a coup d'etat made up of Captain Hook, The Wicked Queen, a Cyclops, Rumpelstiltskin, and Mabel the Ugly Stepsister as well as an army of black knights, witches and walking trees. The pregnant Fiona, her mother, Queen Lillian, and Doris the Ugly Stepsister recruit four of Fiona's closest princess friends, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and Cinderella to help them hold off Prince Charming's quest for the throne, with added help from Shrek's friends, Pinocchio, the Three Little Pigs, the Big Bad Wolf, the three blind mice, and the Gingerbread Man.

Plot:

Over summer vacation, the East High Wildcats are ready to enjoy their vacation and earn some money at summer jobs. Troy Bolton lands a job at the country club, Lava Springs, not knowing that his job is a part of Sharpay's plan to steal him from Gabriella. Accidentally foiling Sharpay's plot, Troy not only helps Gabriella get a job as a lifeguard, but also lands jobs for Chad, Taylor, Zeke, Martha, Kelsi, Jason and the rest of his Wildcat pals.

Making it worse, Sharpay finds out Kelsi has written a duet for Troy and Gabriella that's sure to outperform everyone at the club's annual Midsummer Night's Talent Show. Reminded of her humiliation over the winter musical, Sharpay is determined not to suffer a repeat and forms her own campaign to make sure she's not upstaged again. As they go head to head, Troy is enjoying the life of the privileged set, and begins to question what he's willing to give up for what he thinks he wants.

Spider-Man 3

My Spider-Man 3 Review:

As a Spider-Man fan, I liked the movie, but some thoughts:

First of all, Spider-Man has the best set of villains and supporting characters in comics. You would have to do a major botch-up job to make it seem otherwise.

Topher Grace has now become one of the greatest miscasts in film of all time. As Eddie Brock, ok, but as Venom — he pretty much destroyed it. I think Sam Raimi became a bit confused in trying to explore some of the darker themes in Spider-Man and at the same time not alienating the kids which seems to be one of the important target audiences for Sony. The result is an ill-advised casting of Topher Grace among other things. I’m not a big fan of Venom — because I hate him or it since its so evil — but Topher, even if it looked like he tried his best, pretty much made Venom look like a joke.

Tobey Maguire is a horrible actor. When you cry and the entire audience laughs, that’s serious bad acting right there.

Finally, since when was Kirsten Dunst known for her singing? This is a spoiler, but consider it a warning: Kirsten Dunst’s singing bookends this movie. Get ready.

Again, it's just great to see Spider-Man on the big screen. The animation is top-notch with some really good sequences.

The storyline and the concept is good -- the battling with yourself thing, and I think this is the best Spider-Man movie so far.

Verdict: Cool!
